On the August 23 i had my last Raid race of the season. But as i woke up on that morning at 5h30... i was full of energy ready to race... but the f*** rain got to me. As i was looking at the radars they were calling for lots of rain, and it was pouring. As i did one 77km race in mud and rain earlier in the summer. i said to myself "NO" not this time... what a big error!!!
Finally waking up to clear skies at 8h30. What a f*** race wasted i had no time left to catch the start. So i did a DNS on that one. Well next year rain or shine i'm racing.
